Ol' Timer

It was a good group at Sketchclub this past Friday ... there were five of us. Not only have we picked up Armand Serrano last week, but we also picked up Luis Grane this week. (There will be more to come on Luis when he posts.) Hopefully we'll have both their drawings posted shortly.

Our "mark" this time around was an old timer sitting on a bench soaking up some sun. Ah, California winter!

These are all fabulous...

I wanna get me my own sketchclub...if only I can get my computerly-challenged friends to join.

Good job, looking forward to more.

Hey Ben,
Your work is terrific! I just had a peek at your web site, and you seem like a shoe in for this Sketchclub stuff. I love the caricatures of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. When you get your own sketch club, I'll link to if from our site.

I will warn you, it is tricky trying to find a group of artists that want to do it on a regular basis, and then to get everyone to do their memory sketch on a regular basis is even trickier. There were five of us at Sketchclub on Friday, and I was the only that has posted his memory sketch so far.
