Marcelo and Marcos Skewered!

I'm sure some of you think it's just not fair that we get to skewer some poor unsuspecting (sometimes suspecting) soul, and no one skewers us in return. Not so, when my daughter Grace came to Sketchclub, she skewered both Marcos and I!

If Refrigerators Could Walk

One of the things I noted, upon seeing Marco's posted sketch, both of us picked on this fellow's unique walk. I wouldn't say it was determined, as much as undeterred. This guy walked like what I would imagine a refrigerator would walk like: solid, confident, and unyielding.

Grace Vignali Posts!

Ladies and gentlemen, this past session Sketch Club had the distinct honor of a very special guest ... Grace Vignali. If the last name sounds familiar, it should ... she's my nine year old daughter. So, without further ado, here is her first posting!

-Good session today at Daphne's, including the presence of an unexpected artist at the table, that Marcelo will later introduce.
-And in the way back, quite a character, walking and talking with equal energy, and possibly going somewhere to deal with an important issue, at least that's what I thought (and again, who could argue the point anyway?).

So that's It ! Sketchclub goes experimental !
Anyway, as I didn't go to Daphne's with the guys yesterday, Marcelo gave me a verbal description of the "mark of the day"...the memory sketch subject.
I drew it as I pictured it and this is the result...Let's see (I'm so nervous already!)

Going To The Movies ...

When the Sketchclub executives made their mark, this kid sensed it right way. Or, it could have been the fact that all three of us had our noses pressedd up against the glass as we looked him over from top to bottom. Yeah, that was probably it.

A little while ago, someone asked why so much Photoshop? As opposed to what? You mean there's another way to do art? Hmmm, we must look into this. "Figby, make a note of this, and fax the other executives. We need a meeting right away."

Currently, I just got set up with a Cintiq here at work, so it's almost like a traditional set up. As a matter of fact, this is the first drawing I produced entirely on the Cintiq ... from drawing to color.

PS, Stephen's out sick, so welcome him back when he starts posting again.
