Sketch Club

After lunch, Sketch Club identifies a person of interest, usually for their unique or distinct characteristics. The subject is briefly studied without drawing. Once back from lunch and back at the drawing board, the subject is drawn from memory.

Gorillaz-Looking Guy

Glenn Harmon summed it up best, "This poor guy never stood a chance."

What, Glenn Harmon at the Culver City Sketch Club? I thought he moved onto the big-leagues and went up to Dreamworks? YES! The award winning story artist/director Glenn Harmon came to hang out with the Sketch Club gang. What a wonderful surprise.

First, a physically brutal hazing process. If you survive, you're a member.

Actually, membership is quite simple. First, you come and join us for lunch, draw and eat, and make merriment. If you like us, you'll come back, and we get to know you. When we pick a person of note to sketch, you'll get access to be an author on the blog.
