I tried something new on this one. Flat colors with white skin. I'm happy with the results. I felt in the zone as I was working on this one.

Blustery Day

Here's my take for the mark. The wind was blowing her hair into her face, so she threw her head back and tried to let the wind push her hair back. I thought to myself, there's the drawing.

A character sketch from memory. In this one, I wanted to try having texture like background with limited rendering.

I drew a sketch of the mark on my sketch book from memory. Then I redrew it on Photoshop. On this one, I put in extra work. I looked at photos to reference some details such as the fold of the scarf and wrinkles of the jacket. And I added color. I'm happy with the results : )

I didn't get that great of a look at him, but this is what he should have looked like.  Reality is subjective.

Flourencent Adolescent

I hadn't posted in a while and we came across this wonderful specimen this Friday, so I had to do a lil quick sketch. Heh heh heh.

Had time to sculpt the mark.  Someday I'll draw one.

Redefining "COOL"

Look at this mug! No wonder he was selected as the mark for this week. We could all see his pearly white teeth a block away as he whizzed by on his skateboard. He was redefining "cool" with his brand of fashion.
