Big mouth, small cell phone.

Back in town and back to drawing the mystery person. Some people get on a cell phone and want everyone within a 10 block radius to know it.

Mr Nice .

Hey there - this is my take on the poor victim . Everyone said " that guy " and when I turned around all I saw was a mass of big shapes .

Craig Harris

When this guy was marked, Craig only saw this 3/4 back view, then the guy turned a walked around the corner and was gone. There were only a few seconds to memorize this mark.

Bouncer for a Mortuary?

What the heck did this guy do for a living? He looked like a bouncer for a mortuary...if a mortuary ever needed a bouncer.

Lost in Culver City

We had a hard time guessing his age. It felt like he grew too fast and kept a very young face. He also had a look about him that made you think he was a little lost in Culver City.

Introducing Craig Harris

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce the newest member of Sketchclub, Craig Harris.

Just click on Craig Harris to check out his blog.

Holy-moly! It's been a while...

Yes, Sketchclub had gone into the 'Winter" of its run, and now the Spring thaw has brought blossoms out of the twigs of its yesterday.

In otherwords, we were all lazy and haven't been doing our memory sketches. Don't get me wrong, we've been coming to sketchclub and drawing up a storm, but that's where the enthusiasm wore out.

Here's one by Marcelo -- who was too lazy to add color. So, by the time he had to remember what color shirt this guy was wearing, that memory was gone. Marcelo would like to apologize to all the disapointed fans.

Peanuts Theme

When I first saw this kid, I could almost hear the Peanuts theme playing. Just like Linus, he was carrying his blanket and sucking his fingers.

The Guy In Green

My take on the guy in green sweater. Better late than never as they say.

"Dude in Green" (private colection)

So we decide he -IS- the mark of the day, we all stare at him at a time, real close to get every detail, and what does he do? what -is- his reaction? A little appreciation in the line of,"Oh my god! I'm the mark of the day, etc!!" ??
No way, he looks back at us all suspicious, who knows why, and gets kind of nervous about it. So unprofessional...Really.

Boxer?

The Sketchclub management picked this guy as our "mark" for our memory sketch as he walked into the restaurant.

From across the restaurant I quickly tried to gather up as much visual information as possible. Then, I stopped to pick up my gear and fill my cup once more at the soda fountain. I turn around and this guy was standing right in front of me!!!

I had a good look at this face...bet no one will catch the scar on his left upper eye lid!

All You Need Is LOVE

This song started playing in my mind as soon as I saw this guy.

Jesus is coming...

I used to laugh at those guys on the street corner holding up those signs, "JESUS IS COMING." But, after seeing this guy, I had to make sure my "house" was in order! (Hmm, I thought he'd be taller.)

Matthew (KJV) 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Gary Myers' entry!

Sketchclub Guest

This is from our guest artist, Roland Ilagan, who flew all the way from Orlando, Florida just to sketch with us (well, at least that's what I want to think). He is an alum of Disney Florida as a Clean-up lead and you can check out his blog at http://rolandmechael.blogspot.com/. It was definitely a treat to have him and here's his take on the no. 12...16...or 19?! guy.

Comp !

So! I didn't have time to do the "Tecate" guy the other day.
Time went by and it was time for 'Mr. 12' to show up on the screen...
Anyway, that's what I call 2 in 1.
Marcos.

My Number 16 ... or 12?

Ok I messed up with the number. I got mixed up with number 12 and the guy with the the no. 26 shirt. Anyway, it was a fun session specially with a special guest, Roland Ilagan, all the way from Orlando, Florida. Well here's my take on the boy.
